Effect The Barbazu exerts his will over a mindless creature within 30 feet. If the target is a mindless creature of 3rd level or lower, it must attempt a DC 20 Will save and uses an outcome one degree of success worse than the result of its saving throw.
**Critical Success** The target creature is unaffected.
**Success** The target creature is Slowed 1 for 1 round as its responses are muddled by the Barbazu's commands.
**Failure** The creature is Controlled by the Barbazu for 1 hour, although it doesn't follow commands that are obviously self-destructive.
**Critical Failure** As failure, but the duration is 1 day.
Infernal Wound (divine) — A bearded devil's glaive Strike also deals 1d6 bleed that resists attempts to heal it.
The flat check to stop the bleeding starts at DC 20 Flat. The DC is reduced to DC 15 Flat only if the bleeding creature or an ally successfully assists with the recovery. The DC to Administer First Aid to a creature with an infernal wound is increased by 5.
A spellcaster or item attempting to use healing magic on a creature suffering from an infernal wound must succeed at a DC 21 counteract check or the magic fails to heal the creature.
Reposition — This movement doesn't trigger reactions.
Wriggling Beard — Frequency once per round.
Effect The barbazu makes a beard Strike. This Strike ignores their multiple attack penalty and doesn't count toward that penalty.
