The appearance of the mighty grogrisant is a once-in-a-generation event, but the descendants of those legendary beasts are well known along the World's Edge Mountains and throughout Taldor. These primal predators don't travel in a pride as mundane lions do. Instead, they avoid others of their kind, even to mate, and seek out ordinary lions once a year for this purpose. Dual Pounce — The grisantian lion Strides and makes two claw Strikes against the same creature at the end of that movement. Each attack counts against the grisantian lion's multiple attack penalty, but the penalty doesn't increase until after the grisantian lion makes both attacks. If both attacks hit, combine their damage for the purpose of resistances and weaknesses.
Rend — claw.
If the grisantian lion Rends after a successful Dual Pounce, combine the Rend's damage with that from the Dual Pounce for the purpose of resistances and weaknesses.
A Rend entry lists a Strike the monster has.
Requirements The monster hit the same enemy with two consecutive Strikes of the listed type in the same round.
Effect The monster automatically deals that Strike's damage again to the enemy.

WORKS WELL WITH
AnvilLAND / VERTICALA durable frontline fixes the party's position so the lion can line up Dual Pounce on an exposed target.
SnareLANDControl that keeps a target restrained compounds the extra damage from the lion's Rend once it has Grabbed a foe.
ShadeLAND / VERTICALA stealthy partner can separate a straggler for the lion to isolate and pounce on before the rest of the party can respond.
PUNISHES
✖ clumping✖ isolated targets✖ ranged reliance
Two pounce-and-grab Crashers competing for the same isolated target waste actions rather than dividing the party's defenses.
