Lauded and shunned, caligni assassins often become unwitting pawns in clashes between caligni settlements or between rival factions of caligni society. Calignis often get stereotyped as murderers, but the title of assassin is one of the rarest in their society. Caligni settlements go decades without having offspring born with enough potential. However, once a child shows they have "the gift"; the settlements leaders might give the babe to the owb, who mold and shape the child into an instrument

WORKS WELL WITH
CrasherLANDA heavy melee bruiser draws attention and forces reactions, letting this striker slip in for a precision hit against a distracted target.
WeaverLANDA caster that Frightens or debuffs a target's defenses makes it easier for this striker to land precision damage before retreating into shadow.
AnvilLANDA durable frontline body holds the party's focus while this striker picks off an isolated target from concealment.
PUNISHES
✖ flanking reliance✖ isolated targets✖ low Perception
Avoid stacking multiple stealth strikers; a single ambush attacker already exploits the isolated-target opening this creature relies on.
