Dissolve —
Overflow (move) — The dewdrop jelly flattens its bell and shoots forward, Flying or Swimming twice in a straight line toward its target and attempting a tentacle Strike. On a success, the dewdrop attaches to the target's face, covering its mouth in the suspended water of its gelatinous body. If the target cannot breathe water, it begins to drown. The DC to Escape is 16.
WORKS WELL WITH
AnvilAQUATIC / AERIALA durable body draws attention so the jelly can dart in from an unexpected angle and attach unseen.
SniperAQUATIC / AERIALA target already attached to and slowed by the jelly is easier for ranged attacks to finish.
WeaverAQUATIC / AERIALPersistent damage or debuffs compound well on a target the jelly has already latched onto.
PUNISHES
✖ ranged reliance✖ standing near water or open air✖ melee reliance
Land-bound allies cannot follow into deep water or open air, so positioning will fracture unless the encounter space favors both.
